Waiting on the waves

The first 2 days that we were in Orange Beach the waves were HUGE!

Tommie and her girls and I decided to head out and let the waves crash into us.

Some of the waves were so big that it was hard to keep our balance

(especially for me who is already so front heavy :))

I could only handle getting slammed into the waves for so long, but man it was fun!

Brennon's favorite thing was to grab his float and sit while the waves came in.

He stayed in this position for at least an hour on the second day

because he was too tired to do anything else.

The kids were really wiped out but still were able to relax and enjoy the beach.

Relaxing and waiting for waves to come was definitely an activity that Hadley was interested in, so she sat down one afternoon with Brennon to hang out and wait for the waves.

They sat here forever.

Since they were in floats, whenever a huge wave would come through

it would take them a little ways out into the ocean.

They LOVED waiting in suspense for the big waves.

I'll have to add some videos later, it was so cute!

These girls also enjoyed waiting on the waves.... heck....

And then a big wave came and tossed the girls!!! Love it!
